Paul Costelloe has been the opening show at London Fashion Week now for 5 seasons. I was very excited to be attending as it was my first fashion ever at LFW. For some reason I was put in front row and it was amazing! I spent a long time wondering how the models were going to brush out there hair and how it got like that in the first place - i’m guessing ALOT of backcombing was involved.
What first surprised me when the models came out was how wearable the collection looked. I’m not sure if I would get away with wearing Coats which go out at the waist to make a volumous puff ball, but i’m sure some of you fashionistas will work it.
Nearly all the female models came out wearing black tights with what can only be described as mid leg PVC/leather leg warmers - and I actually think I might give that a try! I’ll let you know if it works on the legs of a 5ft 3 girl. LOL.
This look reminded me of an updated Sandy from Grease with a sheer ruffled blouse.
This look was my fave. I will definitely be sporting something similar soonish.

For me, some garments in the show were designed a bit much as well as the hairstyle of the models. However, the coats and a few dresses were impressive. They were simple. Yet, they were not boring as they had some beautiful cutting details. The silver dress was beautiful with the twisted shape in the middle.
