A peak into my new & improved wardrobe!

Photobucket

As promised, here is a peak into my new and improved wardrobe. It seriously took over 3 days to sort through it all and throw out what I no longer wanted. Oh, if only I had a walk in wardrobe!

Space is extremely compact in my lil bedroom and with the trauma that is me rushing out the house late every morning, things can get messy. So I need to know where everything is. Alternatively I could wake up half an hour earlier - but i'm just not feeling that!

As you can see in the picture above, the bottom of my wardrobe has been completely emptied (see original here) and on the left I have put a dirty clothes basket, on the right you can find my tops that I wear on a regular basis. Behind the tops are my 2 pairs of thigh highs.

Photobucket

I now have less clothes hanging in the wardrobe as I realised, the majority of it was summer holiday dresses and a rather large amount of maxi dresses. I have stored my summer clothes elsewhere, so that I can find winter clothes easily.

Photobucket

To the left, I have my summer holiday clothes and to the left of that (which you can't see in the picture) I have hidden my clutch bags. To the right of my wardrobe I have a basket full of scarfs, gloves and hats.

Photobucket

Once was now a mess - is now super accessible

Photobucket

Here I have folded my jeans, trousers and jogging bottoms (sweat pants) definitely, which now means I can actually open my wardrobe without everything exploding in my face. I have also put my shoes in clear shoe boxes, so that I can keep them in pairs and see what they are.

Photobucket

I used to just chuck all of my shoes under my dressing table, which was becoming an absolute trip hazard. Now I keep all my magazines in neat piles and I can locate the ones I want without looking through millions of old ones (I threw a whole years worth of weekly mags out) It also looks pretty.

Photobucket

My underwear has now been sorted, chucked out and stored under my bed. This is the easiest place to keep it as I don't have that many drawers.
So their you have it - my new and improved organised self. I have made a little video of my organisation skills, which you can check out here.

Happy Thanksgiving to my American readers.

About time to fix my dresser too! Last holiday's numerous sale really got my dresser literally exploding with loads of haul. For instance, it took me a few bloody minutes before I was able to get what I'll wear, which was one of those Marie Jo bras.

Quite a neat collection of magazines you got there. Promise, I'll start with fixing my dresser after getting my Marie Jo lingerie.
