Boobs!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Today girls, I am going to talk about boobs. Last week I was invited to Pepperberry and Bravissimo for a fitting, but there will be more on that in the next few weeks.
I haven't had my boobs measured since I was about 16. The idea for me and my small boobs being told how small we were, was in fact traumatic. A trip to another lingerie store to try on non-triple gel bras was humiliating, but back to my point.
I went to Bravissimo wearing a 34A and I came out wearing a 30DD. Due to this new found knowledge, it quite frankly baffles me how little we as ladies know about bra sizing. I mean we each have 2 of them and it really is amazing the difference a properly fitted bra can make. The shop assistant at the Bravissimo in Brighton really knew her stuff and was so helpful. She explained everything along the way, which coincidently, made sense. I urge all of you to go and get measured - it really does make a world of difference.

I need to get measured. I wear a 34A, if they told me I was a 36AA or summit though I think it would freak me, lol! Nice bra's! x

Bravissimo is where I shop, thanks for doing this post it is important that we wear the correct size bras, I often want to stop women in the street and tell them they need to go to bravissimo as they have the "four" boob effect going on lol

I've been meaning to be measured for absolutely ages, may have to do it this month, i'm pretty sure I'll come out a completely different size!x

Amen, sister!

I recently dragged my mom (who hates to shop, so not sure who I inherited the shopaholic gene from) to get fitted. She hadn't been fitted since before having children (20+ years ago!), and just kept buying the same size!

Needless to say, she's much happier now. :)

That's a crazy difference!! I'd love for them to say mine were bigger than I thought but I don't think it's going to happen xo

wow what a difference in size!
you're right, I really don't think a lot of women take much consideration over the back size which makes ALL the difference. I settled wearing a 36 a few years ago which was so bad for me, because I'm actually a size 30 and so have gone up many sizes in the mean time x

Blimey, how can you go from an A to a DD cup! Thats amazing! I need to go and gt measured, I've never been measured properly and tend to just wear what I think fits (i.e, the size I've worn since I got boobs!) but reading this has made me decided to go and get sorted properly.

Great post Kirsty!

I go to Bravissimo too. It is amazing how so many people don't realise the relation between the back size and cup size. The downside to bravissimo for me is that they are more expensive than elsewhere. x

It´s SO important to get your boobs measured by a pro! I´ve never did it and was frustrated with my small size. Last week I went to a shop and came out with a size bigger :D the woman said "they only get bigger not smaller when you grow old" let´s hope she´s right!

I know that majority of women wear wrong bras. That's why I'm always having them "checked" professionally - in La Senza or M&S. There are free bra fittings and staff is very nice.

I'm going to La Senza tomorrow, because my bras are too big for me after I lost some weight. ;) X

P.S. Don’t forget about my new giveaway!

This is my favorite everyday bra. It's surprisingly supportive without being too tight in the shoulders or back, and feels nice and light. I would recommended bali bra 3372
