Maternity Wear

Half of my friends are currently preggers and are constantly asking, what I think they should be wearing? Or how I think they should dress throughout the 9 months. I am no expert in any way shape or form, but I always suggest to hold off buying anything until absolutely necessary. Also there is no need to go out and buy a million items of maternity wear. Some of the lucky ones, will be able to get away with simply buying the next size up or only having to admit defeat (which it is in-fact not) in the last 2/3 months. Grey Scale

I'm still on the look out for the perfect house, I think i've found it, but I don't want to say anything just incase I jinx it. That hasn't stopped me from decorating the whole place in my head. I seem to be steering towards grey for my bedroom. Not my usual colour but it really does seem to work and still has that girly element without being too girly. Ooooh the decisions.

LFW: Days one - days late

I have been on the look out for a blazer with something a little extra. This Boohoo blazer ticks all the boxes. The PVC sleeves, make the whole outfit that bit more playful and makes a simple outfit that more dynamic. Next on the blazer front - sequin arms!

Wrist Candy

I always like the thought of wearing watches, mainly for decorative purposes, with some thrown on bracelets. The need for a watch, in my life, is pretty null and void thanks to the invention of the mobile phone. However, I love a big chunky ladies watch. It makes such a statement and really brings an outfit together, with a little bit of bling. I do have to admit, that I make sure my watch is turned off at all times as the ticking drives me absolutely insane. Which brings me back to my earlier point - thank goodness for the invention of mobile phones. I would literally be late for everything!

Sunday with Ellos

I'm always on the hunt for a massive cosy cardigan, that is equal parts functional and stylish. However, they never seem to fit right or hang on the correct places, so I am left with a wardrobe full of unwanted knitwear - check out my blog shop, which will be updated daily until my clothes run out. I think the search may have now ended. This fluffy little number is everything I hate, but strangely like all at the same time. It reminds me of something from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air - I think it was a pressie from Valerie to her parents, but that is all I will say on that. Ellos is a brand that has been on my radar for a little over a year now (seen here), and I will continue checking out the site as they do get some fab pieces in - currently i'm loving the pastel section.

First Time Buyer

So who's excited that it's nearly the weekend?

As mentioned in previous posts, I am currently looking to buy a house or a flat - depending on what my budget can stretch to. It is literally becoming the bane of my life. First up - I didn't think I would be doing this as a single gal - when I was little, I was sure that I would have my Prince Charming by my side. Turns out - not so much. Secondly - I can afford the mortgage, but who knew all the costs to actually move house would add up to SOOOOOO much! It's stressing me out to say the least. The search continues to find something that is girly and pretty - last week I viewed a flat - the estate agent asked what I thought of it - to which I replied "It looks like a haunted 70s bed sit!" Not a chance!

Perfectly Peach

I took these pictures at the weekend, just after it snowed. It was absolutely freezing and I ended up sitting on a radiator with a hot water bottle afterwards. Clearly these aren't the actual outfit pictures, but they made me laugh, I literally fell on my arse. Lots of exciting things have been happening blog wise and hopefully I will be able to share them soon.

The Vow

I went to see 'The Vow' at the weekend, with high hopes, that it would be as good as 'The Notebook'. As it had Rachel McAdams starring in it - I knew it would be worth the watch, and who can forget about Channing Tatum. In my opinion, it was lacking a little something, but what that something is, I haven't decided yet. The story itself was touching and made me wish I had myself a Mr Tatum, but we can't all be that lucky. It is defo worth a valentines day watch, however I was disappointed with the ending.

Today I want to wear

Today, I wish I was wearing this. I love the simpleness of a complete black outfit, although it can be some what boring, I think that this ensemble is perfect with all the different textures involved.

My getting dressed inspiration is lacking and as I am now a brunette (YIKES), I am having some brown hair related wardrobe issues.

The hunt for the perfect house/flat continues.......... I have a few viewings at the weekend and fingers crossed I see something that I like! Then I get can on with sorting out my mortgage. For now though, i am just stocking up on items that I am going to need for when I do eventually find a place. Which just happens to be everything apart from bedroom furniture! EEEK!

Fashion Details

Sometimes you have to really hit rock bottom before you can work your way back up again. Finally this week, I feel like i'm getting back to my normal self. Everything happens for a reason, whether you understand it or not - it is what it is. Things are starting to fall into place and I am finally making some adult decisions about new cars, where to live and where my life might be going. Every cloud has a silver lining and all that jazz, and if you can't see that silver lining - buy shoes!
