I delved into my cupboard (walk in wardrobe) yesterday to attempt to find any kind of maxi dress. Since I moved house 4 months ago - I just moved all my clothing in boxes and dumped them - so everything has been untouched and i've pretty much been living in jeans or just buying new clothes. However I managed to find one - not the one I wanted to wear, but it'll do none the less. A maxi dress is the easiest way to transition to different seasons. I'm wearing tights underneath and massive socks, covered by my shoes, as I am absolutely freezing.
Wearing Select maxi dress, New Look jacket, Topshop scarf and With Love Boutique jumper and Ash boots.

I did exactly the same thing this week - wore the maxi skirt so that I could wear thick tights, chunky socks and boots without looking like I was off on an arctic expedition. It so works.
I'm digging out my black maxi dress today in honour of the holiday!
