Getting ready for Spring

I'm sure the last thing you are all thinking about right now is getting you Spring wardrobe together. However the winter sales are ending and the rails are full of pastels, florals, skirts and kimonos. It's time to get Spring time prepared.
There are a number of ways that you can get wardrobe ready for the Spring. Some great Spring time fashion ideas include the following:

Wet look leggings: These have only recently become a wardrobe staple of mine. Over the past few weeks, I have opted for wet look leggings instead of jeans, or even over my favourite swing dresses - unheard of. There are so many cheap wet look leggings around now, so many. They are easily dressed up or dressed down. Team with a white tee, statement necklace and a black blazer and you're good to run out the door.

Ankle boots: Want a pair of shoes to take you from winter to spring? Then ankle boots are your answer. Added bonus they are so versatile that you can wear them with jeans, leggings, dresses and skirts.

Cardigan: Absolutely perfect for when you can't be bothered to take a coat, just incase, but don't want to carry it if you get too warm. These are just perfect to wear over a cami or a light tee and you don't want to cover up entirely.

Skirts: Who could live without a skirt in the spring months. If you're brave enough you could show a bare leg, although, as it will still be a bit chilly it's nice to know that tights are still an option.

A lightweight coat: We have to be smart, we do live in England after all, so to throw the coats to the back of the wardrobe already would be ridiculous. At the very least you should keep a rain jacket by the door - just incase. I am very aware that I now sound like my Mum.

Do you have any tips to take you from winter to spring to summer?
