Strawberry Scones

Photobucket

Do you remember when I rather smugly stated (see here) that clearly practice makes perfect (in the kitchen) and i'm getting much better? Well it was lies, all lies! So the cooking disaster section of my blog is back, back, back. I decided I would give plain scones a try. A few months back I attempted cheese scones, which didn't rise and turned out awful (seen here) Well these ones did the same thing! Boo Hoo! Luckily they were saved by the fact that I put whipped cream inside them and added strawberries! Saved the day! Well not really I thought they tasted a lil bit weird! Guess I will try again! The kitchen really hates me! I am no domesticated goddess! I used this recipe.

I normally love cream and stawberry jam on my scones. But these ones with fresh strawberries look so scrummy.

Will have to try them.

Aw haha, well don't worry, no matter how much of a disaster you think you are in the kitchen, know that there's me across the world trying to make her boyfriend dinner and absolutely destroying it.

The scones look amaaaazing, I've had a serious sweet tooth problem as of late and will need to give these a shot!
