Choco-nut cookies
For as long as I can remember - like most kids - chocolate anything was my fave pudding. As a child at birthdays I was always torn between a chocolate caterpillar cake or a pretty princess one. The caterpillar always won. Since then it has always been about chocolate and I went through a phase of having a chocolate bar everyday - naughty I know. I have now managed to stop that addiction due to being sick and tired of eating a Snickers everyday and now settle with my random baking attempts at the weekend. This weekend I gave Choco-nut cookies a go. (recipe here) Not your bog standard cookie and actually completely un-cookie like, I wasn't a fan. For once nothing at all went wrong with my attempts at making these. There a bit like Rice Krispie cakes - nothing could possibly go wrong. They just weren't chocolatey (is that even a word? Google says yes) enough and for the amount of nuts that were put in, they also weren't nutty enough. However they had just the right amount of coconut on them to save the day. My Dad had no issue with eating them, so they didn't go to waste.

Well they still look really good despite being un-chocolatey (gotta LOVE that word!!)...
it's funny because I was born in Switzerland yet I always find Italian chocolate to be better!!!

They look yummy, I could polish one off with a nice cup of tea!
You and your baking, you've got some talent! I successfully managed to ruin $30 of ingredients the other day trying to make cheesecake...it was my first attempt in three months at baking and it will be my last for awhile!
These look amazing, I'll see if my bf can make them for me!
