Christmas Tree Biscuits

Photobucket

The one thing that I hate about making biscuits is the dough! It's either too dry or too wet - which makes it so sticky it's ridiculous. One day, I will get it right the first time round. After the dough situation it was plain sailing. What can go wrong whilst cutting out star shapes - absolutely nothing thank goodness.
The cinnamon left an amazing wintery smell in the kitchen and for that reason I love them.
You can find the recipe that I used here. I must admit that making a tree out of biscuits was somewhat exciting, but I quickly got bored and ate the remaining biscuits.

This is so cute!
I once tried to make a cake that we call, in translation, three milks cake, and it was supposed to have cognac. Well, for fear that it would be too dry, I put a bit too much cognac and... let's say we had fun!

Yum! One of things about having a christmas full of sunshine (I'm in Australia) is I don't want to cook/bake. Which seems a shame, since christmas is all about sharing delicious food!
