It's a hair thing!

I love the idea of long wavy beach hair a la The olsen Twins or Gillian Zinser. Now the days are getting warmer (slowly) and the nights are getting longer, I find myself wishing for long, wavy, blonde, beach hair! I have been trying to get perfect beach hair for years. My main problems being - There is no such thing as perfect beach hair and also whenever I try to get it beachy, it never works. However as luck would have it, rolling down my car windows on the way to work - with towel dried hair, seems to do the trick!

Great photos!! I love the first one. I adore long beachy hair as well. It's sooo pretty and effortless looking. Have you tried Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray? It can be amazing for this type of look.

I am in love with beach hair although my hair is ridiculously annoying and refuses to wave enough, it just kinks a bit.
grrrrrr.
also I am desperately trying to get my hair back to its original super long length but I think it hates me since I cut it off so its refusing to grow.
double grrrrrr.

I love the hair photos. For beach
hair start with the color. Get a
good colorist and do it subtle or
wild.

I love the beachy, whispy hair look too. I always seem to not feel successful, but like you said, there's no perfect beachy look.

Happy FRIDAY!

I think most women strive for the long, beachy hair. I can get it as long as I do NOT brush my hair after letting it air dry. But then it looks all ratty and gross after a while. That's lame.
Even just drying my hair and letting it go natural, I get nice waves. That's how my hair is. I prefer to straighten, though.

I'm really into the beach wavy hair at the moment too, although mine is red and not blonde - would love it to be blonde and have the proper beach look!

Ooooo i like two!! and I want to try number 3, you ccan show me how at the weekend please :) I call my look beach hair all the time, but actually its just my excuse for not brushing it :) Try some of that beach hair spray, I think it has salt in it?
Number 4 is like a piccy of me :)

Well my hair does this naturally (sadly in the winter too)Hmm, you could try wearing your hair in a high loose bun for a couple of hours, then take it out and use salt spray. But the most important thing- do not brush it!
