Bleugh!

I've been feeling pretty bleugh recently. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I feel like something/someone is missing. I don't know who or what that is yet, but I guess that's life. Maybe i'm having a quarter life plus 2 years crisis. So, today i'm going to switch my phone off, lock myself in my house and have a pamper day. Bubble bath, face pack and a mani/pedi. Topped of with ice cold Coke Zero and a plate full of Oreos. That should do the trick. Tonight I finally get to see the new Batman - quite excited would be an understatement. I have my batman tee at the ready!

This week, seems to be the longest week ever and its only Wednesday. Maybe its because I am looking forward to the 3 day weekend, seeing friends, eating loads of food and furniture shopping for my new house.

Puppy Love

Life List

After reading Hollie's life list over at More! online last week, it got me to thinking - what have I done on my list since I left school - 10 years ago - Shhhh! When I was 18, I remember writing a list which was to be completed by the time I reached my 21st birthday. It was very materialistic and self obsessed.

1. Get a boob job.

2. Get  tattoo.

3. Own a convertible. 

4. Become rich.

Other than the tattoo scenario - I didn't manage to do the other 3. Thank goodness the boob job never happened, however I would still like a convertible, please and would be incredibly happy if I won the National Lottery Jackpot - just saying.
I think it's time to make a new list.

It's the Little Things

The last 2 months haven't really been that great. Being sick for a whole month, someone special to me leaving and someone very important to me passing away and generally feeling sorry for myself, have left me feeling a bit down. Sometimes you just need to look at the little things in your life that make you happy and take note of them. Things are never as bad as they seem and they can only get better. Here is a small list of things that currently make me happy.

1. Finding money in my pockets.

2. Catching up with my best friend.

3. Receiving a single red rose.

4. Freshly washed bed sheets.

5. When I find Diet Coke in the fridge and I haven't bought it.

6. Magazine Tuesdays.

7. Bumping into an old friend on the London underground.

8. Finding the perfect shoes and realising they're on sale.

9. Looking through old pictures and remembering all the good times.

It's a hair thing!

I love the idea of long wavy beach hair a la The olsen Twins or Gillian Zinser. Now the days are getting warmer (slowly) and the nights are getting longer, I find myself wishing for long, wavy, blonde, beach hair! I have been trying to get perfect beach hair for years. My main problems being - There is no such thing as perfect beach hair and also whenever I try to get it beachy, it never works. However as luck would have it, rolling down my car windows on the way to work - with towel dried hair, seems to do the trick!

Samsung Photo Diary

Random pics from the weekend, taken on my Samsung wave phone. The camera is pretty awesome, the flash is sooo bright! I have still yet to master holding the camera still whilst standing! Ha! My dress is from Paprika, a brand I only discovered last week. Love the colour - shame I managed to spill all my drinks all over it!

This week has been spent hiding from the snow. After the drive home, that I mentioned the other day, I was more than happy to stay at home. That was, until I had somewhere to be.

• Monday night, I missed something important - so a big sorry to my friend Katie.
• Tuesday, I missed Xmas drinks with my bestie - boooooo!
• Also to the boys, for not being able to go and see Tron - I was beyond annoyed! I'm a cinema geek!

Weekend Diary

{New F21 scarf & new phone cover}

So here are my pics from last weekend. I went on around 10 trains, went shopping in Birmingham, Leicester and Loughborough. Drank Stella from a can (with a straw) for the first time. Went to a dingy, dirty student club in expensive shoes (£150) to be exact, and they didn't get ruined! RESULT! Spent 3 hours in Forever 21 and only bought a few bits and bobs. What was I doing in there all that time? I have absolutely no idea. Their was just sooooooo much to look at.

Thanks for all your help yesterday. I will be attempting to do something with my room at the weekend, starting tonight. I will also be checking out your links for shoes and clothes storage. My room will be tidy and pretty once again.
