Review: Bumble & Bumble DeFrizz

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

My natural hair colour is dark dark dark brown (seen here), and has been bleached for the last 2 and a bit years. As you can imagine, it's not in the best condition. It took me a while to get used to the fact that I had to condition my hair each time I washed it and also I had to buy heat protective spray. They do say that going blonde is the easy part - staying blonde is the hard part. Some days, I absolutely love being blonde and think my hair is in great condition, but then I forget to use protective heat spray and break off half my hair! Bad times.
At the minute I have quite a few fly away hairs because of it. A product that I have been testing out in the last few days has been Bumble & Bumble DeFrizz, sent to me by these guys and if you wish to give it a go you can buy it here.

I can happily report that it has helped me out a treat!
It' lightweight.
Easy to apply.
Does not leave hair looking unwashed.
Does what it says on the tin - or bottle in this case.

I'm surprised to hear you found it odd to condition your hair ever wash, thats what I do and I'm always getting comments about how healthy my hair looks (but then, it's never be coloured so that probably helps a lot!) That product does sounds interesting though, it's good to find a leave in conditioner that doesn't leave your hair looking greasy!

Even though my hair is not coloured I still use heat protective spray (from TRESemme) for styling and sometimes for drying. X

P.S. Don’t forget about my giveaway!

Hey Kirsty!

I don't know if you remember me - I met you with Carrie at LFW last September, took some time off from blogging but i'm back now!

I'm blonde now too and agree that it can be quite hard to maintain, i think i need to get some heat protection spray, i do worry that i batter my hair quite a lot!

I have to completely agree with what you've said, as someone who is now blonde (i have naturally really dark hair) it takes so much effort to keep it in good condition! I shall be checking this product out :)
