GHD Air Hairdryer

P1040643

Ive been wanting to get my hands on this hairdryer since it was launched. I mean, I literally couldn't rate my GHDs anymore that I already do, so I obviously had high hopes for the hair dryer.
My first thought when I opened the box, was that the hair dryer was compact, with a lovely sleek design, but did it have the power? Turns out yes it did, its like having my own personal wind machine - all I need is my own personal photographer and I could give Naomi Campbell a run for her money. Ha ha! As if!  Now my hair is even shorter it takes all in all about 5 mins to rough dry my hair now and then I'm off out the door.
What makes it amazing you ask? If the wind machine wasn't enough - The hairdryer uses advance ionic  technology to lock in moisture for softer, shinier results with far less frizzing.
Whats more, the design is suitable for you difficult lefties out there - just kidding but its been designed to make it comfortable to hold for both left and right handed users.

Super happy with the product and if any of you are in the market for a new hairdryer, I would 100% recommend this product.

Nail Rock

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I tried Nail Rock nail wraps on New Years Eve as I wanted a different look. This is the first time that I have tried nail wraps and although I liked them from a distance look - up close they didn't look that great. I have still yet to master the art of applying a nail wrap. Also, due to wearing Acrylic nails for almost a decade, I have been left with uneven nails. So not the best blank canvas to work with. I did however get a lot of compliments on my nails that evening, so I was happy. Next up on my list to test out is the metallic silver and the gold lace on white.
Do you have any tips on how to apply nail wraps?

On My Lips

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Whilst looking through the Boots half price sale, I decided to have a look at the Collection 2000 range. I have been loving the brand lately and have found my fave bronzer and mascara from said brand. These glosses have also been put on my fave list. Not only are they amazingly priced, I nabbed them in a 3 for 1 deal. The pink one is the most amazingly vibrant pink colour I have found and is a daily must for me now. The other two colours are great when I want to mix it up a bit. The orange one looks a bit garish, but I have to say, it actually comes out an amazing shade. Today they also passed the wind and lip gloss test - not as annoying as normal lip glosses and definitely not as sticky! I 'm not too sure if it lasts the promised 6 hours as I am forever drinking diet coke and always reapplying.

Review: Rimmel

Im always a stickler when it comes to make up. I find a brand and I stick to it. The only time that I even think about changing brands is with mascara. Recently I have been getting bored with my make up and I have been feeling like it doesn't really do it's job anymore. Foundations are completely new to me as i'm more of a powder girl and I stay away from lippy as I have such such small lips. So I was excited to give  some new products from Rimmel london a chance at making it into my make up bag.

First up we have the Kate Moss Lasting Finish lippy. The smell was the first thing that got my attention - I can't quite put my finger on it, but it was delish! The colour glided on perfectly and lasted a whole night out with the girls. Just what you need as applying lippy after a few cocktails can become quite troublesome.

Next up - We have the Lasting Finish 25 hour foundation. the application is extremely easy - I used my fingers, as my sponges and brushes always seem to go walk abouts. The smell again is amazing and the coverage is exactly what I need to go from day to night. Maybe it should be re-named the busy girls magic trick! Maybe someone could come up with a better name than that. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard!

Eyeko Graffiti Eyeliner Pen

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I received this Eyeko graffiti eyeliner pen a few months back and  haven't written about it before, because I am awful at applying any type of eye make up. I have been practicing with this eyeliner pen and I have found it extremely easy to use. I have never been able to apply liquid eyeliners in any sort of straight line and I always felt that the black was too black - if that is even possible? This eyeliner pen has been my saviour. I love the fact that it looks like a felt tip pen. I love the fact that I can apply it in the appropriate places. I love the fact that it doesn't smudge and I love the fact that it is the right shade of black for my colouring - if you know what I mean? For such a great product, I am surprised that it is being sold at the modest price of £5.50. Serious bargain.

Please excuse the stupid picture, it is the only one I can find of moi, whilst wearing said eyeliner. As I am still a little bit sick I simply cannot be bothered to put make up on my face for blog purposes. Instead I choose to embarrass myself with another drunken picture.

Neate's Cakery

{Napkin holder}

As all my old readers will know - I love cupcakes. Unfortunately I should be banned from the kitchen at all costs as I am the worst baker in the world. Not for my lack of trying though (seen here, here and here). So you can imagine my excitement when I discovered a cupcake cafe in my hometown - Eastbourne. Forget McDonalds Sunday's - it's all about cupcake Sundays now. I had the Ooh La La cupcake pictured below and it was simply amazing. I can't wait to go back to test out the Drama Queen! Check out there Facebook page to see more cupcake creations.

Bill's

{produce sold outside Bill's}

Since my trip down to St Martin's Courtyard (see here), I have been obsessed with Bill's cafe and produce store. It is now officially one of my favourite spots to visit in London town and completely worth heading over to Covent Garden for. They have seating inside and outside and as its at St Martin's Courtyard, so you would never know that you were sitting in the middle of London. Also where else can you get a fish finger sandwich and not be looked at like you're a child?

Cantina Laredo

{Tortilla chips & dip}
I absolutely love Mexican food and could quite happily eat it everyday, unfortunately there isn't one near to where I live. So when I won a meal for two last week at the St Martin's Courtyard Blogger Challenge (see here), I knew instantly that I had to go to Cantina Laredo. My sister came with me as she has been meaning to try out the place for the last couple of weeks. We started with frozen mango flavoured margaritas (my new fave drink), closely followed by top shelf guacamole. For mains we both had Enchiladas Veracruz, which were so filling, but I wanted more! For pudding - the mexican brownie was suggested and who can say no to a brownie, especially when served with brandy butter and vanilla ice cream - not me! I made my sister get the Flan - just to re-live my youth and take me back to the days of Sabrina the teenage witch and the wiggly jiggly flan.

Laurens Way Fake Tan

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

We all know, I love fake tan. Recently I have been trying all sorts of new brands as St Moritz, simply isn't working for me anymore! So when I was asked if I would like to try a new tan from the range made by Lauren Goodger from TOWIE, I jumped at the chance. Lauren always has a bronzed tan as appose to some of the Oompa loopa ones that I have come across. However I can't emphasize enough - the importance of exfoliating! If you don't do it, then do not put this tan on, as I feel it clings to everything, but thats the same with every tan really.

♥ Easy to use
♥ No streaks
♥ No biscuit smell
♥ Instant colour & continues to develop
♥ Dries almost instantly - so easy to apply before bed
♥ No stains in my white bed sheets or on my clothes

You can get yours at the Lauren Goodger Official Website
